For the surveying of sites, AXIS uses the latest techniques on the field of Laser Scanning. Per second, 240.000 points are scanned and measured, which are combined to one file.
The output of a scan is a point cloud; many thousands of points which together contain the information of a building or object. Furthermore, the colour of every measured point is also recorded, due to which the visual outcome is also very close to the real situation.
In such a point cloud, measurements can easily be made, due to which it is not necessary anymore to visit a site or object once more for measurement purposes.
Furthermore, this point cloud can be used as the base of almost all CAD software. Due to this, a object can be easily drawn in the right position and a map or plan can easily be created of the location.
The point cloud can also be converted to a 3D model as a design/presentation tool. The model of your location can be brought together with your design with as an outcome a realistic presentation of your project!
